This unit is highlighting on reading and listening. Here we come across four basic skills which arw important in English language:receptive(reading and listening) and productive (speaking and writing). Reasons for reading include entertainment and for a purpose. Reading and listening depends in areas like productive skills, specific information, general ideas or even detail information of something. Problems faced here ranges from language (sentence length, word and number unfamiliarity).By reading,learners capture and think unlike listening where there's no enough time to familiarize. However, its good to pre-teach vocabulary to ease learners process as well carefully selecting any text.Also as a teacher i got to choose good motivative topics,create intereste via activities, set a task to promote understanding. A typical receptive skill lesson is that using the patchway method(engage-study-engage-study-activate-study-activate) I also learnt of making comparisons using basic words like "more than,less than,as...as etc,which was followed by exercises
