This unit was about teaching the receptive skills, reading and listening. It discussed how and why we read and listen, as well as how to incorporate reading and listening into our English classes. It's necessary for me as a teacher to have a clear understanding of how to teach these skills as they are just as important as speaking and writing. I especially appreciated that this unit gave an example lesson to demonstrate teaching these skills, because it helps me to understand what activities are good for teaching them.
