Teacher can supplement course books with authentic and created materials. Created materials can be crosswords, cards, puzzles, pictures, etc. If teacher uses just course books during the lesson, the lesson becomes too predictable and boring for students and they may loose their motivation to study. Teacher can omit some lessons in a course book as well, if such information is not relevant or necessary for students.
