This lesson discussed the many aspects of pronunciation such as stress and intonation as well as phonology. It was a detailed discussion of the meanings of stress and intonation and how English phonology works. Although this was a lot of information, I found this lesson to be fascinating, because as a student of other foreign languages such as Chinese, phonology and tones are quite interesting to me. I particularly enjoyed learning about articulation and practicing making the different sounds in English by learning how they are formed. This is is something I often do in my class, and I'm excited to use what I learned today to teach my students pronunciation.
