I've taught a little pronunciation before. Though I remember some of the terms, like voiced and unvoiced consonants and fricatives, I'm not sure how helpful that is. I've also found that the phonetic script is used in teaching English and many students are familiar with it, but again, I'm not sure if it's helpful. It seems like there's enough to remember in learning a language already. Nevertheless I should probably purchase a book on teaching pronunciation.
