This lesson was very informative for teaching pronunciation. It is vital to be able to effectively teach students to correctly form words in their speech. The phonetic script part of this unit was especially useful in understanding the importance of these concepts. This helped to show how word sounds are impacted by our articulation in speech. I found that this was important in learning how to teach students the correct forms of these. Also, knowing this can make it easy to spot where student difficulties might arise. Overall, I found this unit to be useful in showing the importance of word sounds as related to how they are used in speech.
