In my point of view, Unit 13 was one of the most difficult units so far. As a teacher, I strongly believe that pronunciation and phonology are very important. Unfortunately, most teachers seem to neglect this part when they are teaching English or any other language. I also believe that Language teachers need to be well trained in this area. Native teachers or native likes should teach phonetic lessons in order to convery the correct pronunciation to their students. Teachers who speak with a foreign accent cannot teach the pronunciation because they also have an accent. Overall this unit was hard! I hope and pray that I did well on the test.
