I am very happy to have taken this course. It has taught me to be diligent, persistent and disciplined which are features every teacher must have. What I sought out the most was to have teaching skills in order to prepare lessons in a way that students can gain the most from them. I am very pleased with what I have learnt. Planning lessons as a task has helped me develop creativity, allowing lessons to be more interesting and enjoyable for students (or at least I think so!) Regarding subject matter, I?m very glad to have learnt grammar. As a native speaking person living in chile, I was always in the top set of english lessons, this meant we focused more or literature than language. Although I preferred literature lessons, my english grammar has always been neglected, so it?s good I now know and understand more about it. I plan to take on single students in the future, and eventually apply for a job at a school here in Chile. I hope to use the teaching methodology I have learnt throughout the course and put it into practice as soon as I can. I also hope to refer back to my lesson plans in order to keep things fun, simple and educational for my future students. I am very grateful for this experience and hope it will be a good tool for me to help people learn a new language.
