I have gained a lot of information from completing this course and I feel prepared to begin teaching classes of my own. I have learnt about different learning levels, a wide range of different activities to implement, how to break down english grammar, and how to plan lessons and why it is important. My first opportunity to teach english will be here in mexico at an orphanage I have been visiting. I have learnt what kind of vocabulary is appropriate to teach beginner levels with children and what kind of activities will be fun and beneficial for them to learn. I have also learnt what to look for and how to prepare a classroom in an environment like this, what resources they already have and what I will need to supply, as well as what areas I can utilise to make the lessons as fun and interesting as possible. I have learnt that it is important to monitor activities so they don't carry on, how to identify the different levels students in a class may be at and how to effectively use that information so all the students in the class will be learning something new. I believe this course was very informative and interesting and I thoroughly enjoyed completing it!
