Unit 11 is a shorter unit but it does a great favor.I get the idea of four basic skills in a language:reading,listening and speaking,writing.Here,I have got well know to the skills of reading and listening,which called receptive skills.The categories of the reasons and motivates why we read and listen and the skills of how we read and listen,which introduced in this unit,offer me great help to understand receptive skills learning and teaching.In this unit,it mentions many keys which should be concerned into receptive skills lessons. It’s very great to have the outline of a typical receptive skills lesson to refer.It helps me with my planning and proceeding of successful receptive skills lessons .Thank you.
