This unit focuses on the types of the Future tense as Future Simple, Future Continuous, Future Perfect, Future Perfect Continuous, Going to future, Present Simple and Present Continuous and their use. For each tense there are four areas that have been discussed. In the Form area are stated the grammatical construction and rules of the tense, its affirmative, negative, question form, negative question form and contractions. Usages area discusses under what circumstances and how a particular tense is used, providing also examples. The typical mistakes/errors area shows examples of predictable mistakes of each tense a student could make, so the teacher needs to formulate strategies, what the error is and how it should be fixed instead. The last area is Activate stage and teaching ideas which gives us variety of options how to encourage the students to communicate while using the new tense or a grammar point.
