Learning the definition of phonology , learning about intonation and the stressed words in sentences was all new for me . Pointing out sound joining , linked speech from native speakers was good to learn and have apparent , even though we as native English speakers don't realise we are doing it in our day to day speech ! Learning the phonetic script was probably the most challenging part of for me . Although I think i understood it by the end of the unit .
