I think this may be one of the hardest questions in the whole course. I honestly don?t know where to start when describing what I have learnt and personally gained during this course, and I really don?t want to bore you to death. So I will try to keep this as brief as possible (which for me is still always too long) First of all this course has taught me english. I am a native english speaker and although I wasn?t arrogant or thought I knew everything about the english language, I didn?t realize until doing this course how much I didn?t know. This course has taught me so much about grammar, it?s amazing! I am now boring all my friends with my new found knowledge. It has given me confidence in myself. I wasn?t sure if I was going to be able to complete the course; not just with juggling everything in life, but also if I was ?smart? enough to do it all and actually understand everything. Trying to describe how I will put certain things into practice is also hard as I want to put everything I have been learning into my teaching. I will use the TEFL as my bible throughout my teaching career, and hopefully put everything to good use. I have a spanish boyfriend and for years have been ?trying? to learn spanish; through doing the TEFL it has enabled me to see language through different eyes. I am finding that I am doing far better in my spanish lessons too, which I never expected. I am also testing out everything I have been learning on all my friends who have english as a second language. As am writing this I find myself feeling a great sense of pride and accomplishment. I know it?s not PhD or anything like that, but it is a great base and something I will be incredibly proud to have. I will absolutely be going further with my TEFL education and am already signed up for the next course. I have really enjoyed the past few months (when I really got into it) I forgot how rewarding and fun it can be to learn and educate yourself. And the psychology behind teaching truly fascinates me. I couldn?t be happier with the course and what it has given me. When I have the final email to say that I have completed my TEFL I will be really pleased with myself. The confidence and self -belief I have now, in comparison with the start of the course is quite incredible. Well, I have already gone on too much. I just want to add that having the feedback from the tutor (Tania) was great. She motivated and praised me, but also helped me with the units I found a little harder. And I got lots of extra tips that were not included in any of the units. Thank you for a fantastic experience and the opportunity to be a certified TEFL teacher. I can?t wait to see what the future brings?
