This unit deals with the future tense and its different structures. Future tenses in English are used to express facts, predictions, promises and decisions. There are forms where you speak about events that are going to happen in the furture, planned or unplanned, which will be completed or will have happened by a certain time in the future or which are predicted or foreseen in the future. For students the use of perfect tense in connection with a future tense might be confusing and difficult. On top of that the use of the present simple and present continuous in connection to a plan or event in the future can cause confusing for students.
