Each sentence is just a jumbled pile of words. English grammar is one of the most important elements of our language study. However, it could be the one of the most complex and difficult. In every conversation, from normal conversation to professional conversation, English grammar is very important. Why? As in the excerpted from “Some Questions and Answers about Grammar”, 2002 of Haussamen, Brock, et al said that "People associate grammar with errors and correctness. But knowing about grammar also helps us understand what makes sentences and paragraphs clear and interesting and precise. Grammar can be part of literature discussions when we and our students closely read the sentences in poetry and stories. And knowing about grammar means finding out that all languages and all dialects follow grammatical patterns." First of all, grammar lays the groundwork for effective communication. Just in a phone call communication or writing, grammar makes written content more readable and more interesting. All the people know that communication is an integral part of our daily life, we cannot live in an isolated society without any interactions. Communication is a process used to express ideas and feelings or used by people for giving information, it involves sharing of ideas and information between one person to another. Grammar helps communication more effectively and properly that makes listeners could understand what speakers to want express. Secondly, grammar skills are useful in every aspect of life from education to management and social life to employment opportunities. They are equally important at home or at work and grammar skills are important to be an effective leader. The person who has the good grammar knowledge, he could be more successful in work than the others. Thirdly, grammar helps enhance accuracy. Grammar is the structural foundation of our ability to express ourselves. Grammar helps learners develop a habit of thinking logically and clearly. The correct grammar is the key to speaking fluently and confidently. Sentence structure is an aid in the interpretation of literature. It helps student influences to form better sentences. For speakers, speaking clearly means they take time to polish themselves with a good impression from the listeners. For listeners, a proper use of grammar shows that their thought is concerned. Correct grammar helps you to avoid errors that make your English sound strange to native speakers. Finally, grammar is an aid in the interpretation of literature. Grammar is the study of how sentences mean. Actually, if we want to understand the meaning of the sentences, we must be good at grammar so that we could understand the sentences in correct meaning. Form four reasons mentioned above, I find that study grammar is very important to me as well as everybody who study any languages. Grammar helps us communicate ore effectively and we could understand accurately what we want to express especially when we talk to native speakers. More than that, we could show that our language level is improve and In conclusion,the more we know about the grammar, the better we will be able to carry out our expression and others could able to understand exactly what we want to express. The more we know about the grammar, the opened minded we will be.
