Is TEFL a good career choice? - ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ITTT TEFL & TESOL
Anyone who has considered teaching English abroad has probably had a reaction from a friend or family member along the lines of “that sounds like fun, but what will you do when you get back?” In some quarters, teaching English as a foreign language has the reputation of not being a ‘real job’, just something that people do to pay off student loans or simply for fun and adventure before settling down into a normal job and lifestyle. There are many people who do choose teaching abroad for these reasons, but there are also plenty who have made a successful and lucrative career out of TEFL.

Can you make good money teaching English abroad? - ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ITTT TEFL & TESOL
Many TEFL qualified teachers head overseas to look for excitement, adventure, new experiences, and to simply get away from the daily grind, but not all are aware of the potential to earn a very good living whilst doing so. In some parts of the world teachers can earn more than enough to live a high quality of life and also afford to put aside a considerable sum each month to pay off student debts or to save for future travel etc. As demand for qualified teachers continues to grow in many areas, so do the potential salaries on offer.
When looking for a teaching job, it is always advisable to weigh up the salary on offer in comparison with the local cost of living as this can vary considerably from one country to the next. A monthly salary of $1000 in Bolivia would allow you to live a... [Read more]
Are TEFL courses accredited? - ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ITTT TEFL & TESOL
Identifying a good TEFL course and a great course provider with sound graduate services is becoming increasingly difficult. One way to gain some perspective is to check the accreditation that a course possesses, as well as independent reviews of the course.
Almost every TEFL course provider has some form of external accreditation for their courses. Without external accreditation, the qualification and manner in which it was achieved could come under scrutiny when applying for jobs and work visas. After all, governments and schools want English teachers to be skilled and of significant benefit to their students.
The provider of the accreditation should be an independent third party that is recognized for being able to assess the quality of the training and the professional standards of... [Read more]

The good news for our trainees is that there are a number of ways in which this can be achieved with ITTT.
The first distinction in TEFL course type depends upon whether you want to travel to a training center to complete your studies or stay at home. If you wish to travel, then an ‘onsite’ course is best for you. Should you wish to complete your training at home then an ‘online’ course is best.

The 12-unit research-based course is divided into two sections, and participants initially have access to modules 1 to 6. A task sheet accompanies each module, which is completed after studying the associated material, and is intended to selfmonitor progress. Once the sixth module has been completed, the test for that section can be downloaded. After successfully completing the test, the process is repeated for modules 7 to 11 and a second test taken. A research thesis is then required.

What does a TEFL course teach you? - ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ITTT TEFL & TESOL
Although it is theoretically possible to teach the English language without any form of training or qualifications, something that was quite common in years gone by, it is now almost universally accepted that the ability to speak a language has little bearing on an individual’s ability to teach it effectively to others. This change of attitude among school directors and education departments has led to the development of TEFL certification courses that are designed to give native and non-native English speakers the skills and knowledge they require to provide effective language instruction to their future students. So what does a TEFL course actually teach you?
The mere mention of English grammar is often enough to strike fear into the hearts of potential EFL teachers. Ask any native... [Read more]
